Jaggards Directors Discuss Jackson with Justice Minister Jonathan Djanogly
On 17 September 2010, Jaggards’ directors, Adrian Jaggard and Matthew Hoe met with Justice Minister Jonathan Djanogly in his constituency to discuss the Minister’s recent announcement in the Commons that the Government would consult on some of Lord Justice Jackson’s recommendations from his Final Report on Civil Costs. The hour long discussion touched on topics such as referral fees, fixed costs, contingency fees and market forces in relation to CFAs. The Minister reiterated his intention to issue a green paper this autumn and that his work in this area will continue into the New Year.
