Job Title: Information Technology Apprentice
Based At: Jaggards, Midgate House, Peterborough.
Duties:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated young person to join our busy and dynamic IT Section as an NVQ Information Technology Apprentice. You will work under the supervision of the IT Manager. At the same time you will receive extensive training in the helpdesk functions in order to provide an efficient IT Helpdesk service during core office hours.
Personal Profile:
You will be organised and motivated and have a keen interest in computers, we are seeking someone with a long term commitment to the industry and will benefit from training and accreditation to develop a high level of expertise. The chosen candidate will be self-motivated and keen to progress. You will also gain technical expertise to support internal processes and learn to solve user problems in an efficient and timely way. You will study for an NVQ in Information Technology or a similar qualification. A commitment to team work and customer care is essential.
